Inside the box, the ending is revealed. ### Main Character Peter Pankratius Pek – actor, insurance broker, and influencer – is constantly on the run, without truly knowing from what or why. He flees from opportunity, fame, and success, as well as from disappointment, rejection, and criticism. He escapes warm embraces and community just as much as he avoids coldness, cruelty, and being used. He fears both harmony and mediocrity as well as conflict and performance pressure. It feels as if he simply doesn’t belong in this world—like he was born on the wrong planet. And yet he never retreats for long. He flees *forward*, always bursting with ideas, plans, and curiosity, restlessly seeking a place in the world. Over the years, he has not only become rich in experience, but a master of disguise—a virtuoso of first impressions and fresh starts. But never out of calculation—always with heart. Passionate and witty, he breaks into difficult spaces and achieves remarkable things. But never for long. The only constant in his life is John, his husband—calm, grounded, and always there. Peter doesn’t trust him with every detail, but in the sum of things, he trusts him completely. --- ## [[1. Act 1 💭|Act 1]] One day, one of his many escapes becomes the last. When Xavier—the man he pinned all his career hopes on—turns out to be a manipulative opportunist, the fragile thread that tethered him to life in the real world finally snaps. Peter flees from everything, including John, and isolates himself on a remote Atlantic island. He gives himself ten days to reflect—before ending his life. He simply sees no other way. But then something happens that he’s longed for since childhood: he is given the chance to flee into a [[Fantasy]] world built entirely from his own dreams, longings, and desires—an island of delight called Nadlee’han. He doesn’t hesitate. Ecstatic and curious, he explores this new world, indulging in fulfilled desires, savoring the thrill of an adventurous yet strangely familiar realm. When he meets Xandro, Lou, and [[Peschbel ✅]]—a trio of Magox’i, Abyssno’i, and Ksall’i—they form an unlikely bond. It feels as if Peter is the final missing piece of their group. And when he falls for [[Godrin ✅]], an Abyssno’i, with a depth of intimacy he has never known, he realizes: he is finally home. His running is over. But soon, signs appear that this paradise is under threat. Earthquakes shake the island. Plants wither. Time begins to unravel differently across regions. Beings vanish. Entire settlements dissolve. Even the species begin to change: the energetic Magox’i grow sluggish and irritable; the serving, selfless Abyssno’i become authoritarian. The once-enthusiastic visitors from the Ksall’i homeland turn hostile—abducting and enslaving Abyssno’i. The prophecy of the [[Kaiuree - old version]] begins to unfold: Nadlee’han is doomed—unless four friends from four species can find the book that will heal the world. --- ## Act 2 – Part 1 Peter doesn’t hesitate. He sets out on a mission to save Nadlee’han. They journey to Ksall’han—a place no Nadlee’i has dared to visit for centuries. With help from Fratil, a rising Ksall’i senator, they reach the capital and find [[Godrin ✅]]. But the diplomatic attempt fails. Instead of allies, they return home with a Ksall’i army in pursuit. As they arrive, Nadlee’han’s natural defense activates: a massive seashell rises from the ocean, sealing the island in eternal night. They just barely manage to steer their boat inside—but lose [[Peschbel ✅]] in the process. She is left behind, on the other side. --- ## Act 2 – Part 2 > [!warning]- From here on: serious spoilers > In the protective night, the island transforms. > > The Magox’i fall into a coma-like state, while the Abyssno’i flourish and establish a new regime of enlightened rule. > > Peter’s paradise turns against him. His presence—and naïve actions—are blamed for the collapse of this ancient world. > He is put on trial before the Abyssno’i Council and sentenced to elimination. > > Only Lou and [[Godrin ✅]] believe in him. Together, they search for answers in the vast library of the Abyssno’i. > > They discover a possibility to save him—and perhaps the island: Peter must commit a forbidden act by eating from the Jezz’ir plant, which grants access to the Temple of [[Kaiuree - old version]]. > But it’s forbidden for a reason: it will destroy Nadlee’han. > > Only then does Peter realize how much he wants to live. > While his friends are still deliberating, he chooses betrayal—and takes the plant. > > He enters a third world, a control center behind all others. The [[Kaiuree - old version]], long imagined as a divine empress or wise goddess, appears instead as a chain-smoking mandrill system admin—caretaker of a very particular brain: Peter’s. > > Here, he finally receives answers to questions that haunted him since childhood. > He realizes who he is—and why he’s always been on the run: he carries an invisible disability that makes him fundamentally different. A world not made for his kind. > In the real world, this condition is called [[!🧭 Unmasking|AuDHD]]: a genetic mutation that makes him unreadable to others—not quite human in their eyes. > > And he sees how deeply he has judged himself through the eyes of others. > It is time, at last, to love and accept himself as he truly is. > > But it may be too late. > Nadlee’han is dying. > And in the real world, he lies in a coma—after drifting out to sea, sedated and intoxicated, caught by the Atlantic tide. > > Peter accepts the inevitable: he will die. > > The [[Kaiuree - old version]] gives him a choice: in which world does he wish to die? > After a brief return to reality, he chooses Nadlee’han. --- ## Act 3 > [!danger]- The ending is revealed from here on > Peter convinces the Abyssno’i to spare him. He even revives Xandro from his trauma. > Together, the friends try to spend their final days in love and community. > > Peter feels at peace—except for the pain of missing John. > He begins writing letters to his husband, knowing John will never read them. > > But something unexpected happens: the act of storytelling releases new magic. > In a world previously ruled by sacred texts and dry knowledge, stories open up new pathways between worlds. > > These stories become a source of energy—called Relaton’in—capable of saving Nadlee’han. > > More and more Abyssno’i begin writing. The island stirs. > The giant shell becomes a semi-permeable membrane. > > The new Nadlee’han is no longer a pleasure island, but a sanctuary of honest, personal storytelling. > Not open to everyone—but to anyone willing to participate with their own truth. > > Peter dwells in quiet contentment, except for one ache: John. He knows John is grieving. > And one day, Peter senses it’s time. > He knows: tomorrow, he will wake up—back home.
