It will all come, step by step.* *Back to my "What if..." I’ve realized that the English formulation doesn’t work for me in German. So I’m letting it go. And I want to return to conciseness, which means not carrying over all the details from above—but instead aiming to be brief and precise.* *A few reminders, just for myself:* 1. *I’m writing from that indescribable moment of self-recognition—when I found out at age 45 that I’m [[!🧭 Unmasking|AuDHD]] and had masked my whole life without knowing it—especially unconsciously. To reinforce this motif, Peter will become an actor, insurance broker, and influencer: someone who, within his limits, has perfected the art of masking.* 2. *What moves me most about this story is the idea of truly seeing yourself for the first time—after a lifetime of running from the truth. Peter, then, becomes someone hunted, someone always fleeing. And what’s important to me here: the danger was and is real. This isn’t about minimizing it. It’s about the fact that living your own life is more important than being safe.
