As [[Etral'han]] is a world that is created in the consciousness of [[Peter Pankratius Pek|Peter]], with the [[Kaiur'naos|Kaiur’naos]] as the central unit, the [[Kaiuree ✅]] is the only system admin in the world of the book. However, as we assume that all conscious beings have a brain, they also all have system admins. > > System admins are not real in the sense of having an own personality and world. They are actually just patterns in the human brain, regulating the multi-connected network of neurons, brain cells, etc. However, when [[Species - Humans ✅|Humans]] actually enter the brain via their consciousness world - there’s no direct path - they need to appear in some recognizable form to make the interaction and communication possible. They usually materialize as a member of the conscious species, but, as in Peter’s case, this is not a must and there are evolutionairy variations of this. > > System admins are created genetically, and so with the development of their conscious being’s brain, they already have access to a wide range of knowledge and insight that is further enriched by every sensory input, every learning, every thought and every emotion that the conscious being ever experiences. As they do not forget anything, this results in a Kassandra like state - knowing much, much more than what they can translate into action. > > But - at the beginning it’s only propositional and tacit knowledge without own consciousness. The actual conciousness of the system admin develops together with the brain’s consciousness; but - with their inability to forget - somewhat faster, but also more rule based as the one of their “host”. > > Their ability to act and intervene is massively limited, as the brain in it’s complexity does never follow a singular ruler and they can not directly create thoughts, movements, or any other activity of the brain they live in. > > However, they are not complete powerless - they do have the ability to regulate the [[Relation’in✅|Relation'in]] field to a certain degree via the means of the [[Cervézard]]: If they are safely enclosed in their [[Habi’zard]], the [[Relation’in✅]] circle will flow as designed. If they release the [[Habi’zard]], they will fill the brain with impulsive and animalistic emotions like fear, hunger, lust, or rage. As a consequence, [[Ekstion'in]] will increase across [[Etral'han]], making [[Species - Magox’i✅|Magox'i]] first thrive, but depleting the [[Species - Abyssno’i ✅|Abyssno'i]] and [[Nadlee'han💭|Nadlee’han]] of necessary minimum amounts of [[Jezzirion'in]], causing the owner of their brain to become more receptive to strong emotions, rejection, story, addiction, alcohol, or the like. They can also intervene in the opposite direction, catching [[Cervézard]] and putting them back in the [[Habi’zard]], pushing their host to more rational and hyperfocused thinking and behavior that sends [[Nadlee'han💭|Nadlee’han]] into [[Thysi’een]], but limiting their hosts ability to perceive and follow basic needs. > Both mechanisms are dangerous, as they can trigger unforseeable reactions of the host brain, and, in the worst case, lead to a viscious cycle resulting either in loss of controll and depression, addicition, or other mental conditions associated with moodieness, impulsivity, and stress; or they can overpower the [[Species - Abyssno’i ✅|Abyssno'i]], resulting in the respective human turning into compulsive, catatonic, or hyper-rational states and the respective mental health problems (e.g., OCD, extreme regidity) > > #### Species: [[Cervézard]] > ### Culture Group: Gods💭 There are 2 gods in [[Etral'han]]: [[Thaksir]] and [[Kaiuree ✅|Kaiuree]]. [[Thaksir]] is a god, similar to gods in the human world - a narrative figure, created from tradition and holy texts. He’s associated with the mountains of [[Thalan’oruun]]. He’s male, associated with light, rationality, and structure, and is seen as a rather rule based and at times punishing god. The exact ascriptions vary from culture to culture. He’s accepted and believed in by all [[Species - Ksall'i ✅|Ksall'i]] cultures, but with different interpretations and belief systems around him. Some [[Species - Magox’i✅|Magox'i]] accept Thaksir as a metaphysical being or even god, but he’s not part of their core belief system. The [[Thaksir]] scriptum is a loose collection of rules, reflections, and poems. It does not contain any stories about the god other than the accounts on the creation of the world. Unfortunately, the 2 main creation myths differ - while the first one, the one adhered to by the [[Thirak’arin]] and most [[Thalan'sir]] arins is based on a monotheistic belief where the world came into being based on [[Thaksir]]‘s will - and will alone; the second one, more popular and important in the [[Hal’thalan]] cultures, is based on the idea that [[Thaksir]] and [[Kaiuree ✅|Kaiuree]] were once a couple that gave birth to the world of [[Etral'han]]. As a consequence, [[Thalan'sir]] religion is highly sceptical of any evolutionairy ideas, while [[Hal’thalan]] religion believes in the evolution, change, and diversity. > [!danger]- Major Spoilers > The [[Kaiuree ✅|Kaiuree]] is different: She’s actually real.
